Suggested Activities March 30-April 3

THIRD GRADE 

Reading 

● Read the 2 passages in Google Classroom and answer questions attached. (1 fiction and 1 nonfiction passages)- see google classroom (passage titles: Vampire Bat, The Messiest Room in Town) 

● Read 20 minutes each day 


Writing & Spelling 

● Write in cursive the uppercase and lowercase letter of each letter of the alphabet (see google classroom if needed). You may do this on paper, whiteboard, paint, use sidewalk chalk, etc 

● IXL: AA.1, 2, 3 (synonyms) (must get 80 or higher on each task) 


Math 

● Watch video review of skills (see google classroom for link - find a number’s place value and comparing whole number place values) ● Complete practice problems given by teacher (worksheets on google classroom) 

● IXL: 3rd grade- A.9, A.10, A.11, B.1-6, B.8 (must get 80 on each tasks 

● Watch video review of skills (see google classroom for link - patterns) 

● Complete practice problems given by teacher (on google classroom-Patterns) 

● IXL: 3rd grade- R.1-R.6 (must get 80 on each task) 


Social Studies Topic: Map Skills 

● www.solpass.org Click on elementary, then 3rd grade Social Studies, and then click Geography tab. Students should review the study guide and then complete the review games. 

● Complete IXL 3rd grade Social Studies A.1-A.6
